Beta Terms

Using the beta

By creating an account or using VajeChin, you agree to these terms and the Privacy Notice. The service is a beta and may change, experience interruptions, or have features added, limited, or removed.

Your account

Provide accurate account information, keep credentials confidential, and use only your own authorized sessions. You are responsible for activity performed through your account unless you promptly report suspected compromise.

Your content

You retain your rights in content you upload or create. You give VajeChin permission to host, copy, parse, transform, and export that content only as needed to operate, secure, maintain, and support the service.

Only upload content you own or are authorized to process. Do not use the service for unlawful, abusive, infringing, or harmful material or to interfere with the service or another user.

VajeChin and third-party rights

VajeChin and its licensors retain rights in the service, software, branding, and documentation. These terms do not transfer ownership of your content to VajeChin or ownership of the service to you. If you voluntarily provide product feedback, VajeChin may use it to improve the service, but that feedback does not grant VajeChin additional rights to your manuscript, translation, or other content.

Plans and trial access

Plan limits and entitlements shown in the application control available features. During the beta, email verification automatically activates a one-time 14-day Free trial for an eligible account and workspace. Plus, Pro, and Business activation may require manual support approval.

Availability and data protection

We work to keep the service available and protect stored data, but the beta is provided without a guaranteed uptime, recovery time, or fixed backup-retention promise. Keep independent copies of your original source material and periodically export important translation work.

Deletion and suspension

You can delete projects you control and may request account deletion through Support. Live deletion and backup handling are described in the Privacy Notice. We may restrict, suspend, or terminate access to protect users or the service, respond to abuse, or comply with legal obligations.

AI status

AI functionality is currently inactive. VajeChin does not presently send manuscript text to an AI provider. Any future activation will require updated product controls and accurate disclosures.

Beta limitations

To the extent permitted by applicable law, the beta is provided without warranties of uninterrupted or error-free operation. VajeChin is not responsible for indirect or consequential loss arising from beta interruption, loss of unsaved work, or reliance on an unavailable feature. Nothing here excludes rights or liabilities that applicable law does not allow us to exclude.

Changes to these terms

These beta terms may evolve. Material changes will be reflected here with an updated effective date, and users may be notified through the application or transactional email where appropriate.
